Why do fruit and vegetable products contain chemicals?

In many cases, the products contain additives, chemicals or fillers that have been used in the past to boost shelf life.

For example, some fruits and vegetables contain added sugars to enhance flavor.

A study in the Canadian Journal of Food Science found that a fruit-based gel marketed in Canada contained between 20 and 25 per cent more polysorbate 80 (PS80) than the standard, non-sorbable version, and that it also contained more than 20 per cent of sodium benzoate, an artificial ingredient used in artificial sweeteners and preservatives.

“I’m concerned about how these additives are going to affect people’s health,” said Dr. Jennifer Foulkes, a food safety expert at the University of British Columbia.

“People are using them to increase shelf life, but it is very concerning.”

The chemicals are often added to the finished products because they are cheaper to make, but they can also be found in the raw materials used to produce the finished product, according to a 2016 study published in the journal Food Science and Technology International.

That study found that the majority of the ingredients used in fruit and vegetables had not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety.

The chemicals include ethyl acetate (DEA), isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol and sodium benzylic acid.

These chemicals are commonly used in consumer products as a preservative, as a solubilizer, as an additive or to boost the shelf life of processed foods, according the FDA.

The agency has approved many of the chemicals that were added to foods, but says that the FDA is still evaluating all of them.

It is unclear how many people have died because of these additives, or how many have died due to other ingredients, including preservatives, according a 2016 report by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

In fact, in 2017, the FDA added two chemicals to a list of substances that it said pose a “high” or “very high” risk to human health.

They are acrylates and polydimethylsiloxane (PDSM), which are used to soften food products.

The report said that PDSM, which was approved by the FDA in the 1970s, has been linked to a range of illnesses, including respiratory problems and asthma.

The US Food and Drugs Administration (federal agency) also banned the use of PDSI in 2017 after an investigation found that it had caused serious and potentially fatal reactions in patients.

In the meantime, the chemicals continue to be added to processed foods and processed food ingredients.

In 2017, food safety experts said that it is likely that these additives will continue to get added to products in the near future.

“The FDA will continue using the same tools to assess the safety of foods and the ingredients in them,” said Laura Wojcicki, a researcher at the Center for Food Safety, an advocacy group.

“This will help to ensure the safety and effectiveness of food products, and ultimately, the health of Americans.”

But the chemical industry is taking a different approach to the situation.

In recent years, the food and chemical industries have begun lobbying the FDA to ban the use or importation of many of these chemicals.

“We have been advocating that the food additive ban be extended to include PDSIs,” said Dan Shostak, a spokesperson for the American Chemistry Council, an industry trade group.

But that approach has not been working, and now there are concerns that the chemical industries may be using the FDA as a way to further their political agenda.

Shostack said that the chemicals industry has been lobbying for more than 30 years to ban food additives.

“There are no plans to ban them from the food supply.

There are no efforts to ban these chemicals from the foods that we eat.”

In 2017 and 2018, Shostatak said that food companies have been lobbying the agency to ban a number of additives from their products.

“They are lobbying us to ban things that we do not know about,” Shostash said.

“Some of the additives are not even regulated.”

The American Chemistry Board, an association of the country’s leading chemistry and chemical companies, is one of the leading groups lobbying for a food additive-free food supply in the US.

The American Chemical Society (ACS), the industry trade association, is another major lobby group.

The ACS is lobbying for an industry-wide ban of the chemical ingredients in food and beverage products.

And the American Beverage Association, the industry’s trade group, is pushing for a ban on all food additives in the American diet.

The chemical industry has long fought for food additives to be banned, and many of their members have pushed the FDA and the government to do so.

“Our goal is to eliminate the use and the use as much as possible,” said Shostacks father, Robert Shostakis.

“And that is not going to happen without a lot of pressure from the chemical companies.”
